Carleton University's Lead To Win has made UBI Global’s top ten list of North American academic business incubators.

UBI Global, a Swedish benchmarking organization, put Lead to Win in the seventh spot. It will announce its global rankings Nov. 25.

Lead To Win has incubated startups since 2002, with companies from the last five years of the program generating over $19.3 million in sales in 2014.

Software programmer Patrick Millward and graphic designer Colin Pritchard were working on their own businesses when they met and realized how well their skills meshed, so they began to build apps together.

More than 50 people celebrated the accomplishments of students in Carleton University’s Technology Innovation Management (TIM) program who hail from North and South American countries.Thirteen students got the chance to speak about their business opportunities and research accomplishments at the June 11, 2015 event at the university’s Accelerator – a unique space for entrepreneurs.The TIM program includes students from several South American countries, including Venezuela, Brazil, Columbia, Guyana and Peru.

Carleton University’s Technology Innovation Management program launches Lead To Win Cyber (LTW Cyber).  LTW Cyber is an innovation hub for technology ventures that have agreed to collaborate for the purpose of addressing the needs of the global market for cybersecurity. Each technology venture will pursue its own opportunities to grow while seeking collaborative opportunities with the other ventures that are part of LTW Cyber.
